Welcome
to my "Mostly Panorama" site. You can see some of the photographs
taken since I
I got my first digital camera during August 2004. They are, as the title of
this site suggests,
mostly composites of several photographs stitched together to form panoramic
views. You
will see two types of panorama here. Those which are a flattened, wide-angle
view of the in-
inside of a cylinder (wide angles up to a full 360 degrees) the clasic kind
of panorama produced
by artists long before the invention of the camera, leave alone the digital
camera. And those
which have become known as virtual reality movies. Here you, the observer,
stand within a
cylinder of the inside of a sphere, in the precise position the camera sat
on its tripod, and look
about you by pointing your mouse anywhere you wish (providing that anywhere
was withing
the view of the camera which took the oroginal photographs.
So take a look. I hope you enjoy my pictures!
